[He found a place that seemed empty. The bat has an extra set of wings, and a third eye; generally a creepy, large, black, hairless creature. It slipped in through a cracked-open window in the dark kitchen of Harley's residence, turned a corner and --
[ Harley shrieked and cursed at the top of her lungs. Holy crap holy crap holy crap FLORIDA BATS ARE HUGE AND AWFUL and she's going to get RABIES and if it got stuck in her hair just go ahead and kill her now.
She hefted the broom like a baseball bat (she hadn't been cleaning, but she'd thought about almost cleaning, which is good enough) and swung it at the gross intruder. ]
[The bat yells with alarm, a noise a bat really shouldn't be able to make, almost human-like except for the fact that it sounds like ten different creepy-ass monster-people yelling at once, all at different pitches.
The bat spirals around the broom in a struggle to maneuver away, but it's too close quarters here. He's hitting walls and Harley and the broom itself trying to escape the fray.
He gets a good whack from the broom after another couple of swings, a full-bodied impact between the wings, and goes crashing backwards into the kitchen.
There, he promptly shapeshifts into a prettyboy asian man, slim and muscular, torso littered with huge scars, and - most notably besides his nudity - a set of black ram horns that sprout from his skull and curl around near his ears. He's sitting on his butt on the kitchen floor where he ungracefully landed. Damn that hurts his tailbone.]
Hey hey hey! [He yells, palms up in a stop.] Don't freak out! I'm not a bat!
[He moves his mouth like he's trying desperately to think of some sort of answer, but he doesn't get it out before she starts hitting him with the broom handle. He tries to slap it away, jerking his head back.]
Stop that! I - I was... hungry? Quit hitting me with a broom and I'll just go!

Why is this supposed to be better?
[ She flips the broom around so the end of the handle is facing him and baps him between the eyes. ]
Why are you in my kitchen? Why the hell shouldn't I freak out about a naked stranger in my kitchen?!

What are you doing here? For real.

I was looking for somewhere to hide.
no subject
Hide from who? Are they going to follow you here? A kid lives here, for Pete's sake!

But I can't stay at my place, because he knows where I live.

Give me a name. You hide out in my house, you keep me informed.
